Job summary

HRB is seeking a seasoned Controller to oversee all finance and accounting operations and mentor a growing in-house staff of five. The role emphasizes GAAP compliance, internal controls, and close processes while coordinating with external auditors.

The Controller will lead financial reporting, cash flow management, and strategic analysis to support executive decision-making, with a focus on process improvements and international transactions.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred but not required.
• Public accounting or audit experience required.
• 8-10+ years’ experience as an accounting leader or team lead (3-5 staff).
• Consolidated reporting/inter‑company accounting for 20+ entities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations and staff (5).
• Lead accounting close and improve processes and systems.
• Coordinate with external auditors and CPA firm.
• Ensure compliance with local tax provisions and financial regulations.
• Provide financial reporting and analysis to guide decisions.
• Mentor and manage accounting staff; lead cost-control initiatives.
• Manage international wires/ACH processes and global accounting.
