Boutique Recruiting seeks an experienced Controller to oversee accounting across a growing portfolio of businesses. This hands-on role manages close processes, consolidations, and treasury while transitioning outsourced accounting in-house to strengthen internal operations.

The ideal candidate has extensive GAAP knowledge, multi-entity experience, and strong analytical skills to build scalable processes. Hybrid schedule with three days in the Dallas office supports fast-paced growth and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement preparation
• Experience across multiple entities and consolidations
• Extensive month-end and year-end close experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and in NetSuite

Responsabilités

• Oversee monthly and annual close across 15+ entities
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations
• Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations
• Convert cash-basis records to GAAP reporting
• Prepare full financial statements (BS, IS, CFS, ROE)
• Manage treasury, cash flow forecasting, and reporting
• Develop and improve accounting controls and COA structures
• Lead transition of outsourced accounting in-house
• Leverage Excel and accounting systems to streamline reporting
• Support investor reporting and financial analysis
• Collaborate with senior leadership on planning and acquisitions
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiency and scalability
