Job summary

TCI, LLC, based in Pagosa Springs, CO, seeks a veteran Controller to lead finance end-to-end from daily operations to senior leadership reporting. This full-time role is office-based in Pagosa Springs.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in progressive accounting, managerial experience, and strong skills in QuickBooks and NetSuite. You will build repeatable processes, drive KPIs, and guide a small accounting team in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; advanced degree a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, multi-entity preferred.
• Proven managerial ability to oversee a multi-faceted accounting department.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail-oriented and self-directed.
• Ability to translate numbers into decisions and work with senior management.
• Ownership mindset, energetic, team player, and continuous learner.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including billing, payroll, A/P and A/R.
• Produce accurate, timely financial statements across entities.
• Manage month-end close and intercompany consolidations.
• Develop, monitor, and audit billing and payroll processes.
• Oversee cash management and cash flow projections.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for the accounting department.
• Input and maintain weekly financial statistics for leadership meetings.
• Maintain internal controls and scalable processes; reduce bottlenecks.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff and partners.
• Coordinate with external tax, legal, and financial advisors.
• Communicate financial metrics clearly to senior management.
