Job summary

Impact Physician Group is seeking an experienced Controller to lead day-to-day accounting, oversee internal controls and financial reporting, and support multi-entity operations across the U.S. The role focuses on ensuring timely, accurate statements and robust dashboards for stakeholders, partnering with revenue cycle, clinical, and operations teams to scale effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a controller or assistant controller role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, multi-entity accounting, and cash flow reporting.
• High proficiency in Excel and financial systems (QuickBooks, Power BI, or similar).
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AR/AP, payroll accounting, and month-end close.
• Manage and refine internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting processes.
• Oversee preparation of timely, accurate financial statements and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle, clinical, and operations teams to support multi-entity reporting and cash flow visibility.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for tax, audit, and compliance functions.
• Build, manage, and mentor a lean finance and accounting team.
• Support financial analysis, cash forecasting, and system improvements as we scale.
