Job summary

Siza- Buso Consulting is seeking a seasoned finance leader to own key financial operations, oversee an accounting team, and drive process improvements within a growing financial services firm. The role emphasizes mortgage servicing accounting, regulatory compliance, and enterprise reporting.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of accounting leadership, CPA, and hands-on experience with MSR valuation, investor reporting, and ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• At least 10 years in senior accounting roles within mortgage servicing or relevant financial services, including Controller-level experience.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing financial audits.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, MSR valuation, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical, leadership, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, payroll, and accounts payable across multiple entities.
• Oversee financial reporting, month-end closing, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage external audits, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
• Oversee cash flow, balance sheet reconciliations, and debt reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and mortgage servicing accounting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and efficiency.
• Develop, mentor, and lead the accounting team.
