Confidential Recruiting Partners is seeking a Senior Controller to lead enterprise accounting across multiple entities, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, payroll, AP, regulatory compliance, and audit coordination. The ideal candidate will have extensive mortgage servicing accounting experience and deep knowledge of U.S.

GAAP, MSR accounting, and investor reporting. The role requires strong leadership, strategic oversight, and the ability to drive process improvements in a hybrid work

Formación

• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior Controller or Senior Controller experience.
• CPA or equivalent certification required.
• Experience with mortgage servicing platforms and enterprise ERP systems.
• 10+ years of accounting leadership within mortgage servicing or related financial services.

Responsabilidades

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
• Monitor lender covenant reporting and debt compliance requirements.
• Oversee consolidated financial reporting and multi-entity accounting operations.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and regulatory reviews.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and cash flow management.
• Evaluate and implement accounting process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Review and document accounting treatment for transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Develop, mentor, and lead accounting team members while fostering accountability.
• Collaborate with third-party valuation firms regarding MSR valuations and reporting.
• Lead all accounting operations including GL, AP, payroll, cash management, and reporting.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Controllerto lead enterprise accounting operations across multiple business entities. This leadership role will oversee accounting, financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, regulatory compliance, audit coordination, and process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring significant mortgage servicing accounting experience, strong leadership capabilities, and deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, mortgage servicing rights (MSR) accounting, and investor reporting requirements.

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Locations: Dallas, TX |Tampa, FL|Rosemont, IL

Please Note: Local candidates within a reasonable commuting distance (45-75 minutes) are preferred. Out-of-state candidates are welcome to apply but must be willing to self-fund relocation, as no relocation assistance is provided.

• Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, cash management, and financial reporting activities.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior Controller or Senior Controller experience.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification required.
• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with mortgage servicing platforms and enterprise ERP systems.
• Experience managing accounting teams and developing finance professionals.
• 10+ years of accounting leadership experience within mortgage servicing or a closely related financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of:
  • U.S. GAAP
  • Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) Accounting and Valuation
  • Financial Audits and Internal Controls
  • Investor reporting requirements, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae environments
