Job summary

Pi-Cardia, a growth-stage medical device company in Needham, MA, seeks an experienced Controller / Senior Accountant to manage the U.S. entity’s accounting operations and monthly close, reporting to the Israel parent and supporting quarterly statements.

Responsibilities include monthly close, bank reconciliations, A/P, A/R, sales tax compliance, W-9 records, and cross-functional collaboration with global finance teams; CPA is a plus, 5+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and sales tax requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems; Priority is a plus.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the monthly close and reporting to the parent company.
• Support quarterly financial statements and audit requirements.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections.
• Oversee invoicing and ensure compliance with U.S. sales tax.
• Maintain vendor and customer records, including W-9 documentation.
• Administer expense management (Experience with SAP Concur-advantage).
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues and global finance teams.
