Job summary

Core6 Talent is representing a confidential client in Northeast San Antonio, TX, seeking a US Controller to own the integrity of US numbers from manufacturing floor through IFRS reporting and lender covenants.

The role is hands-on and broad, leading a team of four, with close collaboration to group finance. Expect process improvements, close timing improvements, and adoption of AI tools in finance.

Qualifications

• CPA with post-qualification experience; public accounting and industry mix preferred.
• Experience in inventory-heavy manufacturing or processing with standard costing and COGS.
• Experience leading external audits and statutory reporting.
• Strong ERP experience with credibility to own it.
• Advanced Excel with modeling, Power Query and PivotTables.

Responsibilities

• Own US monthly close and reporting under IFRS including intercompany and FX.
• Lead a team of four and review reconciliations and commentary.
• Oversee inventory costing, COGS and standard costing processes.
• Lead US external audit, covenant reporting and statutory statements.
• Build AI-enabled reporting and automate forecasting with controls.
