Job summary

Enthought, Inc. is seeking a hands-on, strategic Controller to lead global accounting for our US parent and international subsidiaries.

In this player-coach role, you will drive the month-end close, ASC 606 guidance, and multi-currency consolidation while partnering with the CFO on systems, controls, and strategy. You will mentor a small team, apply AI and automation to accounting processes, and own cloud ERP, spend management, and AP automation platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including 3+ years of end-to-end close management
• 2+ years supervising staff in roles with core technical accounting
• Strong US GAAP knowledge with multi-entity, multi-currency experience (ASC 830, ASC 606)
• Experience with cloud ERP implementations or upgrades and AP automation tools
• Interest in applying AI to accounting with prudent judgment on when human review is essential

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close & Consolidation for US, UK, and Japan entities with multi-currency consolidation
• Financial Reporting and management reports per US GAAP
• Revenue Recognition under ASC 606 for multi-element contracts
• Audit & Tax coordination with external advisors and audits
• Payroll & Treasury oversight including cash forecasting and risk management
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
