Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Controller to join our Atlanta-area manufacturing team in Conyers, GA. This on-site, permanent role focuses on leading accounting operations, GAAP compliance, and cost/inventory accounting.

You will drive monthly statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, partner with leadership on risk, and implement strong internal controls. 5+ years of experience and a CPA or advanced degree are preferred. Flexible hybrid options and competitive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A Master's degree or CPA is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting/finance experience in a senior role.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
• Ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Preparing monthly financial statements and regulatory reporting.
• Leading month-end/year-end close and tax filings.
• Developing accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Performing variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Collaborating with leadership to mitigate financial risk.
