Jobot, an Atlanta-based company, seeks a Permanent Assistant Controller to lead daily accounting operations within the Finance team. The role covers AP, AR, GL, taxes, and controls, working closely with senior management to ensure accurate reporting.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in a similar role, a strong accounting foundation, and experience with relevant industries. Hybrid/remote options are available with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent.
• CPA or MBA preferred for senior leadership trajectory.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience in Industrial/Construction/Mechanical/Manufacturing sectors is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions (AP, AR, GL, taxes).
• Support quarterly and year-end audits and internal controls reviews.
• Assess current practices and implement improvements.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff; coordinate with external auditors.
• Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Controller and executives on reporting and strategic initiatives.
