Job summary

FPC National in the North Georgia mountains is seeking a strategic Controller to own the full accounting function and partner with the CEO on financial strategy. You will lead a small team, manage month-end closes, and drive improvements in cash management and reporting in a manufacturing environment.

Located about 80–90 miles north of Atlanta, the role offers hybrid work with on-site impact, exposure to lenders, auditors, and senior leadership, and potential for system upgrades and automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 7–10 years in progressive accounting roles.
• Experience as Controller or plant Controller in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead a small accounting team and manage month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting function and month-end close.
• Lead treasury decisions and banking relationships.
• Upgrade accounting systems and automations.
• Provide clear insights to non-finance leaders.
