Job summary

New Talent in Atlanta is seeking a Segment Controller to lead a multi-site manufacturing accounting organization. You will partner with the unit CFO, mentor a team, and drive strategic financial decisions across facilities nationwide. This role offers relocation assistance and a hybrid in-office/on-site schedule.

The position emphasizes building strong financial controls, delivering insights, and guiding FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting to improve profitability and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA and/or MBA are a plus, but not a deal breaker.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Manufacturing experience a plus but not required.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and FP&A.
• Strong ERP experience and demonstrated ability to mentor accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all divisional accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities.
• Provide executive leadership with meaningful financial analysis and business insights.
• Develop financial strategies that improve profitability and operational performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a talented accounting organization across sites.
• Partner with Plant Controllers and cross-functional teams to strengthen controls and processes.
