Job summary

Netlist is seeking a Controller to lead our accounting function, work closely with the CFO, and ensure accurate financial reporting, internal control, and strategic input. The role emphasizes GAAP compliance, SOX, and process improvements across cost, inventory, and warranty areas.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing accounting, a CPA, and MBA preferred, with strong leadership and communication skills to manage A/P, A/R, and the general ledger in a public company setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA required.
• 10+ years manufacturing accounting experience including inventory control and general ledger in a public company.
• Product business experience including inventory and AR oversight.
• MAS 200/500 experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GAAP assurance for product costs, inventory, and warranty accounting with reserves.
• SOX compliance and reporting are required.
• Drive process improvements across cost, inventory, warranty, and accounting areas.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close and consolidation; review results and variances.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reconciliations.
• Coordinate annual audits and quarterly reviews by external auditors.
• Assist CFO with ad hoc projects and special reporting/analysis.
• Lead Accounting department including A/P and A/R; staff accountants.
• Proficient with integrated accounting software and MS Office.
