Job summary

RGP, a leading global consulting firm, seeks an experienced Controllership professional to support manufacturing finance operations and accounting oversight. You will work with finance and operations leaders to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and continuous process improvements across the close cycles.

The role requires CPA preferred, progressive controllership experience in manufacturing, and hands-on expertise with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Workday, JD Edwards).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Progressive experience in Controllership and/or Accounting leadership roles.
• Strong experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with major ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Workday, JD Edwards).
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations.
• Manufacturing cost accounting exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support controllership and accounting functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting policies.
• Partner with operations and finance leadership to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
• Manage financial reporting, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
