Job summary

Matrix Finance and Accounting is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead the company's accounting operations, ensure GL integrity, and manage monthly and year-end closes with timely financial reporting.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the role drives ERP process improvement, partners on budgeting and forecasting, and coordinates audit and tax activities while guiding the accounting team toward best practices and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• 4yr Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's accounting operations.
• Ensure the integrity of the general ledger.
• Oversee timely and accurate monthly and year-end close.
• Maintain and improve internal controls.
• Coordinate audit and tax activities.
• Run the day-to-day accounting office.
• Lead for accounting systems and process improvement.
• Design and improve ERP processes and controls.
• Provide timely financial data to support budgeting and forecasting.
