Job summary

Fulcrum Technologies is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, payroll oversight, cost accounting, and intercompany accounting.

This role partners with the President and senior management to support strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and ensure integrity and accuracy of financial information in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• Experience with intercompany accounting for multiple entities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, and project accounting.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial software applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in GAAP.
• Perform variance analyses and provide insights into performance and trends.
• Develop financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and planning.
• Coordinate annual budgeting with department leaders and monitor forecasts.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and revenue enhancement.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Coordinate state income tax and sales tax filings and compliance.
• Ensure regulatory and financial reporting standards compliance; manage external audits.
• Oversee intercompany accounting for multiple entities and payroll processing.
