Job summary

ES Foundry is seeking a Financial Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls in a manufacturing setting. You will partner with operations, supply chain, procurement, and engineering to improve financial performance and support strategic decisions.

You will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, manage the accounting team, and drive continuous process improvements and ERP optimization to ensure timely, accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience including leadership.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• ERP systems and Advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting; perform variance analysis and financial modeling.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity; maintain internal controls.
• Develop and lead accounting staff.

The Financial Controller is responsible for leading the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end close while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. This position plays a critical leadership role within a manufacturing environment by partnering with operations, supply chain, procurement, engineering, and executive leadership to improve financial performance, strengthen controls, and support strategic decision-making.

The Controller will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, manage the accounting team, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely reporting while driving continuous process improvements and ERP optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Perform variance analysis and financial modeling.
