Job summary

The Bolton Group is seeking a Controller to lead financial operations and act as a strategic partner to business leadership in a high-visibility manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on management with strategic oversight and requires a proven track record in finance and accounting.

The successful candidate will oversee FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial reporting, partnering with operations to drive profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 7+ years of finance/accounting experience with strong manufacturing accounting experience.
• Experience with standard costing, forecasting, and operational finance.
• Prior leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities
• Partner with operations and leadership to drive business performance and profitability
• Oversee manufacturing costing, inventory analysis, and operational finance processes
• Support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Sales & Use Tax functions
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
• Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and finance system efficiencies

Position Overview

Reporting to senior finance leadership, the Controller will oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, manufacturing costing, financial reporting, and transactional accounting functions.
