Job summary

Quid is seeking a seasoned Controller to oversee accounting operations and strengthen FP&A capabilities. The role combines hands-on accounting leadership with strategic finance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling in a fast-paced AI-focused environment.

The ideal candidate brings a strong GAAP background, 7+ years of experience, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for executives.

Qualifications

• CPA required for consideration.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience including Controller or senior leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll oversight, and month-end close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Develop internal controls and accounting policies; liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee cash management, banking relations, and treasury activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long-range planning.
• Analyze opportunities, investments, and initiatives with financial insight.
