Job description

Fast growing client/company is seeking a Corporate Controller. Public accounting experience preferred.

High growth organization growing organically and through acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with GAAP including a full package of income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows for each plant.
• Oversee and manage accounting operations such as A/R, A/P, expense management and reporting.
• Review production work orders and variances.
• Manage the financial planning, annual budget and forecast for each business unit.
• Maintain general ledgers and all related reconciliations.
• Manage an accounting team of 5 who support business units.
• Comply and develop best practices policies and procedures.
• Analyze customer and product pricing and profit margin.
• Liaise with the external auditors.
• Collaborate with General Managers and cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and cost optimization.
• Support special projects as needed, such as M&A diligence and integration support.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience with proven experience as a Controller of similar financial leadership.
• ERP software and accounting experience a plus.
• Highly analytical, comfortable as individual contributor while working with other functional team members.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

Compensation:

Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr.
