Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Controller to oversee accounting and financial reporting for a division, ensuring accurate and timely data. You will partner with finance leadership to deliver insights that drive performance, support budgeting and forecasting, and reinforce internal controls.

The role requires leading month-end and year-end closes, coordinating audits, and maintaining regulatory compliance while mentoring junior staff and collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and controls.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience coordinating external audits and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for an assigned division or unit.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with operational and finance leadership for analysis and insights.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide schedules.
• Support the SVP Finance in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Design and monitor internal control procedures and process improvements.
• Prepare management and board reports and analyses.
• Mentor and guide junior staff; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
