Job summary

Novate Solution’s Inc. in Reno, NV is seeking a Controller to lead the finance and admin functions for a growing industrial technology services firm.

You will supervise 3–6 staff, oversee general ledger, project accounting, billing, and internal controls, and partner with leadership to drive performance. This in-office role is hybrid, requiring occasional travel and the migration from QuickBooks Online to a new ERP system.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience, including project-based and service operations.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Able to learn new technologies and integrated software systems.
• Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement and accounting teams.
• Lead general ledger, project accounting, AR/AP, financial reporting and controls.
• Manage billing, revenue recognition, and cash flow forecasting.
• Develop COA and reporting structures by business unit.
• Collaborate with engineering/operations on cost accounting and ISO documentation.
• Drive ERP migration and implement system improvements.
