You will supervise a small team, manage general ledger, project accounting, budgeting, and reporting, while ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls. Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience in a project-based or service business
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• GAAP knowledge and tax proficiency
• Experience migrating from QuickBooks Online to ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee team members in procurement and accounting.
• Lead all accounting operations including G/L, project accounting, A/R, A/P, and financial reporting.
• Develop understanding of business models, revenue streams and cost structures.
• Oversee billing processes, ensure contract compliance and timely receivables.
• Establish KPIs for billing, collections, WIP and cash flow.
• Manage project cost accounting and profitability analysis.
• Maintain chart of accounts and reporting structure.
• Lead cash flow forecasting, budgeting and financial modeling.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations.
• Coordinate audits and ERP implementation.
• Travel to other locations as needed.
