Novate Solution’s Inc. in Reno, NV is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead a small team and oversee procurement, invoicing, and accounting operations. You will drive financial reporting, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and operations.

The role emphasizes GAAP compliance, tax planning, and planning for a migration to a new ERP system, with periodic travel to other locations as required.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of accounting experience in project-based/service environments.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial analysis skills.
• Able to learn new technologies and integrated software quickly.
• Leadership and communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient Excel for in-depth financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience with AIA G702/G703 payment applications.

Aufgaben

• Oversee procurement and accounting team performance.
• Lead general ledger, project accounting, A/R, A/P, and financial reporting.
• Develop understandings of revenue, costs, liabilities and insurance needs.
• Ensure billing accuracy, schedules, and timely collections.
• Forecast cash flow, budgeting, and financial modeling.
• Maintain chart of accounts and reporting structures by business unit.
• Comply with GAAP and tax regulations; oversee multi-state tax matters.
• Support ERP migration and integrate financial processes.
• Coordinate audits and internal controls; travel to other locations as needed.
