Job summary

CC Power seeks a Senior Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and controls. You will guide budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial modeling while overseeing payroll, GL, AP/AR, and fixed assets.

The role emphasizes strong internal controls, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic insights for leadership. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership, CPA preferred, and experience in project-based or infrastructure industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA strongly preferred for leadership and compliance responsibilities.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
• Experience leading accounting functions within construction, utility, infrastructure, engineering, manufacturing, or project-based organizations is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct all accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and financial planning activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modeling.
• Manage accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger.
• Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures to support company growth.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, lending requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor job costing, project profitability, work-in-progress reporting, and KPIs.
• Lead annual audits and maintain relationships with auditors, banks, insurers, and tax advisors.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations for leadership.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and capital investment initiatives as needed.
• Mentor and develop accounting and finance personnel.
