Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC. seeks a senior control systems professional to lead and mentor project teams on start-up and commissioning of complex control systems. You will interpret P&ID and wiring diagrams, apply HMI/PLC expertise, and support QMS while upgrading legacy systems.

The role requires 10+ years total experience, with 3+ years as a project engineer II or equivalent, and extensive collaboration with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering with relevant experience.
• Typically 10+ years total experience.
• 3+ years as Control Systems Project Engineer II or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor co-workers during start-up and commissioning of systems.
• Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams; provide field feedback.
• Expert with HMI and PLC applications; support QMS and legacy control upgrades.
• Independently design complex control systems and provide instrumentation specifications.
• Lead IT system designs related to control system integration and network infrastructure.
