Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC. seeks an experienced Control Systems Project Engineer to lead multiple projects from start-up to commissioning. You will mentor teams, interpret P&ID and wiring diagrams, and advance HMI/PLC applications across varied control platforms.

The role requires deep engineering experience, abilities to design complex systems, and ownership of project scope, schedule, and budget. On-site work with travel may be involved to support client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with relevant experience.
• Typically 10+ years total experience.
• 3+ years as Control Systems Project Engineer II or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor coworkers during start-up and commissioning of systems.
• Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams; provide field feedback.
• Expert in HMI and PLC applications.
• Design complex control systems and author design documents.
• Lead IT systems, network designs related to control system integration.
• Provide instrumentation specifications and cost-effective solutions.
