Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC seeks an experienced Control Systems Project Engineer to lead diverse control system projects in challenging environments. You will mentor teammates during start-up and commissioning, interpret P&ID and wiring diagrams, and apply HMI and PLC expertise to deliver robust solutions.

You’ll contribute to QMS maintenance, migration of legacy systems, and the design of intricate IT and network integrations related to control systems. Expect significant field collaboration and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with relevant experience.
• Typically, 10+ years total experience.
• Proven track record: 3+ years as Control Systems Project Engineer II or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor co-workers during start-up and commissioning of systems.
• Expert in reading and interpreting piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams; feedback on field conditions versus drawings.
• Expert with HMI and PLC applications.
• Maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Design complex control systems independently and provide instrumentation specifications.
