Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Control Systems Project Engineer II to lead diverse control projects from design through commissioning. You will own projects, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality align with client needs.

This role requires independent execution of complex technical work, collaboration with internal teams and customers, and a focus on delivering robust automation solutions across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or computer science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in control systems engineering or industrial automation.
• Proven experience leading project tasks and supporting project delivery.
• Strong expertise in PLC, HMI, and control system design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex control systems, including PLC and HMI applications.
• Interpret and apply P&IDs, electrical drawings, and system specifications.
• Develop instrumentation specifications and support value engineering efforts.
• Lead project-related tasks and small to mid-sized projects from start to finish.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for assigned work.
