Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson, Inc. is seeking a senior Control Systems Integrator to design and implement PLC and HMI software for new ASU plant control systems. You will work with the Control Systems Manager to meet budget and schedule, and coordinate with project teams on status and needs.

The role requires 7–9 years of control systems programming experience, plus strong PLC/HMI/SCADA expertise and excellent communication within a team environment. On-site work in Irving, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 7–9 years of experience in control systems programming (or 10+ years).
• Experience with PLC/SCADA integration for ASU plant control systems.
• Proficient with multiple PLC platforms and HMI/visualization tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform PLC programming for new ASU plant control systems accurately and timely.
• Integrate plant equipment (SCADA, MV/LV systems, analyzers) into new controls.
• Provide commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting support on-site.
• Coordinate with PMs, vendors, field techs, and contractors through start-up phases.
• Assist FAT/SAT testing and develop programming standards for future systems.
• Assist training and certification of department technicians and ops staff.

JOB SUMMARY

Nippon Sanso Matheson (NSM) is looking for (1) senior-levelControl Systems Integrator to fill a full-time position. The ideal candidatewill work with the Control Systems Manager to develop PLC and HMI software fornew Air Separation Unit (ASU) plant control systems within the company asassigned, ensure assignments are completed within budget and on schedule, andcommunicate effectively with team members on project status and needs.

Essential Functions

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete PLC programming for new ASU plant control systemsaccurately and in a timely manner.
Complete integration of plant equipment (SCADA, low andmedium voltage electrical systems, analyzers and sampling systems, etc.) intonew ASU plant control systems accurately and in a timely manner.
Provide commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshootingsupport of all control systems hardware and software throughout on-site ASUplant start-up, and otherwise as needed.
Proactively coordinate with project managers, vendorengineers, field technicians, and contractors throughout the engineering,commissioning, and start-up phases of new ASU plants.
Assist with FAT (factory acceptance testing) and SAT (siteacceptance testing) of all control systems hardware and software for new ASUplants.
Assist the Control Systems Manager in the development ofprogramming standards and library functions to be applied to future ASU plantcontrol systems.
Assist the Control Systems Manager in training andcertifying department technicians and operations teammates in efficient use ofstandard NSM control systems hardware and software.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor's Degree Anengineering degree from an ABET accredited university is required

Work Experience

7-9 years Minimumof 5 years’ experience in control systems programming, or 10 years ofequivalent experience is required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience with multiple PLC platforms including SiemensSIMATIC S7, SIMATIC S5/CTI, and Allen-Bradley.
Experience with multiple HMI/visualization platformsincluding Inductive Automation/Ignition, Siemens WinCC, and SIMATIC HMI.
Experience with networking and communication protocolsincluding OPC UA, MODBUS RTU/TCP, PROFINET, and others.
Ability to develop PLC logic in multiple languages,including ladder logic, structured text and VB script
Ability to effectively interpret and modify PLC wiringdiagrams, P&IDs, control narratives and logic diagrams, and other resourcesrelated to automation of plant operations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong technical and analytical proficiency with the abilityto multi-task effectively and thrive in a team environment.
