New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to lead procurement activities from award to registration within the Discretionary portfolio. The role focuses on contract timelines, compliance, document management, and coordinating vendor submissions to ensure transparent and efficient contract execution.

Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree and four years of full-time procurement experience.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, contract administration or related fields.
• Possession of a professional procurement certification may substitute for up to one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all contract-related processes across the life cycle within the Discretionary portfolio.
• Identify contracting issues and develop solutions with Legal, ACCO, Budget teams.
• Ensure compliance with NYC Charter, PCP Rules, and oversight agencies.
• Maintain relationships with community partners and provide guidance throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain a real-time contract status tracker and provide updates to leadership.
