Job summary

RTX's Advanced Technology (AT) / Alternate Missions and Space (AM&S) Contracts organization is seeking a Manager, Contracts to lead government contracts across major programs in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role partners with portfolio directors, program managers, engineers, and supply chain to ensure compliant, winning and timely contractual execution.

You will assess RFPs/RFIs/BAAs, manage EAC reviews, negotiate terms, and shape IP and investment strategies, while mentoring others and aligning with

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent, with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience related to contracts management, program/project management, supply chain, or procurement.
• Experience with US Government Contracts under FAR/DFARS.
• Active Top-Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage contracts.
• Provide guidance on contractual issues, rights/obligations, and risk mitigation.
• Analyze RFPs, RFIs and BAAs.
• Review Estimates at Completion (EAC).
• Conduct proposal reviews and coordinate responses.
• Negotiate contracts.
• Support program management and execution reviews.
• Develop Intellectual Property and investment strategy.
• Ensure that negotiated terms comply with company policies.
• Minimal domestic travel required.
