RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Manager, Contracts for the Shipboard Missiles Sub-Strategic Business Unit. The role manages a $500M+ contract portfolio for the ESSM program, an international consortium with U.S. and NATO partners, on-site in Tucson.

You will lead negotiations, guide contracting strategy, and oversee proposal development, with travel required. A senior background in FAR/DFARS and strategic relationship management is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant contracting experience or 5+ with advanced degree.
• FAR and DFARS experience.
• Proven ability to shape results and influence leadership.
• Experience in proposals and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to build relationships and influence decisions.
• Lead complex negotiations and represent the company independently.
• Provide strategic guidance on contracting rights, obligations, and policies.
• Support proposal development and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
