Job summary

Nextpower is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to independently lead complex contract negotiations and lifecycle management for projects across the USA. You will advise cross-functional teams and apply risk-aware strategies to protect business interests.

You will coordinate with Sales, Legal, Finance and Project Management, shaping contract templates and policies while ensuring compliance and timely execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and administering complex commercial contracts.
• Ability to work independently on complex issues and drive assignments to completion with limited oversight.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills; ability to advise stakeholders outside contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex contract management activities for projects across the USA.
• Negotiate and execute complex commercial agreements including Supply and Service Agreements and Amendments.
• Interpret and apply contract policies; maintain secure contract documentation.
• Assess risk and develop mitigation strategies for contract-related issues.
• Own the contract lifecycle from preparation to execution and approvals.
• Identify improvements to contract formation processes, templates, and policies.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contractual matters and risk considerations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance and Project Management to align positions with objectives.
• Serve as senior advisor to Project Managers on obligations, change management, disputes, and risk.
