Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead the commercial contract strategy, negotiation, administration, and risk management across its Services and Solutions businesses. You will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, and collaborate with Legal, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Business Development.

The role oversees complex customer, subcontractor, supplier, and strategic partner agreements, ensuring terms align with risk tolerance and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, engineering, construction management, law or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPCM, CCM, PMP, or equivalent are preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressively responsible contract management, commercial management, or related experience.
• Minimum 10+ years leading complex commercial negotiations and managing contract management professionals.
• Significant experience in utility-scale renewable energy, solar, battery energy storage, HV, power generation, EPC, or industrial services.
• Proven experience negotiating high-value customer service, subcontract, MSAs, and strategic commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial strategy, negotiation, and administration of complex customer and supplier contracts.
• Act as primary commercial lead for high-value, high-risk contracts.
• Develop and implement contracting strategies to support growth, profitability, and risk management.
• Provide strategic guidance on risks, obligations, and opportunities to senior leadership.
• Partner with Legal to finalize commercial agreements balancing objectives with risk mitigation.
• Review and approve contract exhibits, amendments, change orders, and modifications.
• Escalate significant risks and recommend mitigation strategies to executives.
• Familiarity with union and non-union contract requirements and relevant regulatory frameworks.
