Job summary

Nextpower LLC in the United States seeks a Senior Contracts Manager to independently lead complex contract negotiations, administration, and lifecycle management for utility-scale and distributed generation projects nationwide.

You will partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Project Management to align contractual positions with business objectives, manage risk, and drive process improvements, templates, policies, and best practices across the contracting lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and administering complex contracts.
• Ability to work independently on complex issues and drive assignments with limited oversight.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract management activities for complex projects and transactions across the USA.
• Lead review, negotiation, and execution of complex commercial agreements (Supply Agreements, Service Agreements, Amendments).
• Interpret and apply contract policies; maintain secure and accurate documentation in the contract database.
• Evaluate risk, develop mitigation strategies, and propose practical solutions.
• Own the contract lifecycle, including documentation, approvals, negotiation strategy, and execution.
• Identify and implement improvements to contracting processes, templates, policies, and best practices.
• Advise clients and internal stakeholders on complex contractual matters and risk considerations.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Project Management to align positions with objectives.
• Serve as senior advisor to Project Managers on obligations, change management, disputes, and risk mitigation.
• Provide reporting on contract status and risks; suggest actions to resolve conflicts.
