Job summary

Leidos in Chantilly, VA, seeks a Senior Contracts Manager to join the Solutions Business Area within the Intelligence Sector. You will advise program and capture teams, shape acquisition strategies, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance across a portfolio of critical government contracts while partnering with government customers and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• BA degree with 12–15 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s with 10–13 years of relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge of government contracts, subcontracts, and proposal support including FAR/DFAR and federal acquisition environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead contracts advisor for a portfolio of Intelligence Community programs; ensure contract compliance.
• Develop acquisition and contracting strategies with program, capture, and business leaders.
• Lead complex negotiations with government and industry partners to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate contractual, financial, and operational risks; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate across Contracts, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Program Management to resolve challenges.
• Build relationships with government contracting counterparts; interface between Leidos and customers.
• Mentor and develop contracts professionals; contribute to continuous improvement.
