Job summary

Leidos seeks a Senior Contracts Manager to join the National Solutions Business Area within the Intelligence Sector in Chantilly, VA. You will act as a strategic partner to program teams, providing expert contractual guidance across the full lifecycle from capture to closeout, ensuring compliance and enabling mission-critical programs for the Intelligence Community.

The ideal candidate brings 12–15 years of contracts experience (or 10–13 with a Master's), deep knowledge of government

Qualifications

BA degree and 12–15 years of relevant experience, or Master's with 10–13 years
Deep knowledge of government contracts, subcontracts, and proposal support
Advanced knowledge of FAR/DFAR and the federal acquisition environment
Experience reviewing RFPs and preparing compliant Contracts Volumes and OCI Plans
Ability to lead negotiations and manage risk across programs

Responsibilities

Lead contracts advisor for a portfolio of Intelligence Community programs, ensuring contract compliance throughout the lifecycle.
Partner with program, capture, and business leaders to develop acquisition and contracting strategies.
Lead complex negotiations with government and industry partners to achieve favorable outcomes.
Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual, financial, and operational risks.
Collaborate with Contracts, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Program Management to resolve challenges.
Build trusted relationships with government contracting counterparts and customers.
Mentor contracts professionals and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
