Job summary

TerraPower is seeking a Director of Contracts to provide strategic oversight and manage high-value subcontracts across complex industries. You will collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Finance and other stakeholders to optimize performance, governance and compliance.

The role demands nuclear contracting expertise and international project exposure. The position requires leadership, EVMS proficiency, and strong communication to guide teams and ensure auditable processes while advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or similar field.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in technically-oriented contracting.
• Experience on manufacturing, infrastructure, government projects.
• Direct nuclear contracting experience; international projects preferred.
• DOE/National Labs experience.
• Strong process mapping, root cause analysis and EVMS familiarity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with Procurement, Legal, Finance.
• Leadership and team collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the business/strategic direction of assigned relationships or subcontracts.
• Promote and support long-term development of requirements and relationship to support TerraPower's objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for review and acceptance; support agreement implementation.
• Establish strategic partnerships through contractual relationships with major partners.
• Organize and lead staff and resources for relationships; coordinate with subject area leads.
• Analyze complex issues; provide guidance to stakeholders; ensure compliance.
• Review contract requirements to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Ensure contracts include terms, costs and items for execution between parties.
• Support documentation and maintain auditable records for audits.
• Resolve minor disputes; contribute to major dispute resolution.
• Provide compliance oversight for key subcontracts; licensing and insurance.
