Job summary

TerraPower seeks a Director of Contracts to provide strategic oversight, compliance reviews, and support for subcontract relationships with total scope over $4 billion in design/development, licensing, EPC, commissioning and utility transition.

The role requires 15+ years in technically-oriented contracting, a engineering/CM background, and experience with DOE/National Labs. Collaboration across Procurement, Legal, Finance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar; 15+ years contracting experience.
• Experience on manufacturing, infrastructure, government projects.
• Nuclear industry contracting with DOE/National Labs preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage strategic direction for subcontract relationships.
• Support compliance reviews and audits and improve processes.
• Lead negotiations and improve subcontracting outcomes.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Monitor subcontract performance and drive improvement plans.
