Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced contracts and legal professional to support Grid Technologies and its project business in the United States. You will analyze contracts, manage complex negotiations, identify risks, and advise project and site management on large-scale initiatives.

The role involves developing claims strategies, supporting change orders, and coordinating with global legal teams to protect enterprise interests. Travel 10% domestically.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of proven experience handling complex contracts and managing multiple projects.
• Experience with commercial contracts in energy markets is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with ability to influence at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support for customer contracts, consortium agreements, and sub-contracts to protect Siemens Energy’s rights.
• Support contractual and commercial matters, including change orders and drafting of correspondence.
• Identify technical, commercial, and contractual aspects to support project-specific claim strategies.
• Contribute to pursuing and defending claims by collecting project records and facts.
• Collaborate with legal teams to substantiate facts for quantum, extension of time, and defenses in arbitration.
