Job summary

Siemens Energy in the United States seeks a Principal/Senior Consultant to join the Grid Consulting team and lead electrification and decarbonization initiatives. You will acquire projects, coordinate studies, and deliver robust business cases and proof of concepts for clients in the energy sector.

The role requires deep energy industry understanding, excellent communication and stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple partners.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in engineering (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred) with relevant professional experience.
• Long-term consulting experience (>8 years) for electrical utilities, industrials and data centers.
• Experience in grid digitalization, energy system modelling and reliability studies.
• Strong strategic thinking and project management track record.
• Knowledge of technology adoption roadmaps for electrical utilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills and stakeholder relationship-building.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Project acquisition: represent our capabilities to clients in the regional market and build relationships.
• Consulting study execution: coordinate studies for business cases and proof of concepts.
• Stakeholder and partner management: ensure successful project delivery and external representation.
