Job summary

Xcel Energy Inc in Colorado is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to oversee the contractor work-to-pay lifecycle, ensuring proper authorization, funding, execution, invoicing and payment in line with company policies. You will manage requisitions, POs, SES, onboarding, and payment support while ensuring audit-ready records and regulatory compliance.

Collaborating with Business Operations, Supply Chain and Finance, you will influence budgeting, vendor performance and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.
• Eight years of experience in construction, operations or contract administration, including two years management/supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of union labor agreements is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
• Capable of handling several activities with diverse work groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract and process modifications to ensure competitive costs and clear expectations.
• Lead contractor work-to-pay lifecycle activities including onboarding, training, and payment support.
• Manage vendor transitions, pricing changes and new agreement implementation for continuity.
• Ensure audit-ready records, SOx compliance and financial governance across operations.
