Xcel Energy is seeking a Senior Contract Administration professional based in Colorado to manage the contractor work-to-pay lifecycle, vendor onboarding, and financial governance. The role focuses on ensuring compliant processes, timely payments, and strong cross-functional partnerships across Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.

You will oversee procurement-related activities, drive process improvements, and ensure audit-ready records while promoting safe, cost-effective contractor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.
• Eight years of experience in construction, operations or contract administration, including two years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of gas/electric system construction, operations, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of union labor agreements.
• Experience with PC/mainframe applications and analytical software is desirable.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor and vendor administration across the work-to-pay lifecycle.
• Lead vendor onboarding, training, system access, billing support and payment issue resolution.
• Oversee vendor transitions, pricing changes and new agreement implementation to ensure business continuity.
• Manage the deployment of crews to maximize work efficiency and meet customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Accounts Payable.
• Ensure quality, safety, customer satisfaction and cost goals with contractors and ensure audit-ready documentation.
