Job summary

ModMed seeks a Senior Contracting Paralegal to manage high‑volume commercial agreements, supporting Sales and Procurement to accelerate deals while protecting company interests.

You will review, redline, draft SaaS, MSAs, NDAs, DPA/BAA contracts, maintain templates, and ensure compliance with HIPAA/data privacy standards. Strong stakeholder management and CLM experience required; remote-friendly with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification required.
• 6–10+ years of commercial contracting or paralegal experience.
• Experience supporting SaaS or technology transactions.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of data privacy frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, redline, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements (SaaS, MSAs, NDAs, DPA, BAAs).
• Assist Sales and Procurement with standard contract structures and deal terms.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare privacy standards.
• Maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and templates in the CLM system.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to obtain approvals and ensure accurate records.
