Job summary

Allogene Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to provide comprehensive legal support focusing on contracting. This role supports negotiation, execution, and administration of agreements and manages contract workflows within a scalable system, reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Counsel.

This position can be remote based in the west coast time zone. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in life sciences paralegal work, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
• At least 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in the life sciences industry.
• Experience independently managing contract workflows and contract management systems.
• Experience reviewing confidentiality, service, consulting, supply and vendor agreements, MSAs, and CTAs.
• Ability to communicate directly and professionally with directors, executives, outside counsel, and cross-functional leaders.
• High degree of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
• Experience developing templates or playbooks and implementing legal operations tools.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and multitask abilities.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and edit routine agreements including confidentiality, service, consulting, and vendor agreements.
• Manage the contract lifecycle from intake to renewal through contract systems.
• Support counsel with contract redlines, revisions, and communications with counterparties.
• Assist with development of standard form agreements and templates.
• Assist with due diligence, corporate transactions, and internal or external inquiries.
• Contribute to policies, SOPs, training materials, and internal guidance for the Legal Department.
• Other duties as assigned.
