The role focuses on profitable growth, disciplined underwriting practices, and building strong relationships with agents, brokers, and clients. You will collaborate with divisional leadership to execute business strategies, drive marketing initiatives, and manage agencies while ensuring risk quality and portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Management.
• 10+ years of experience in the Surety industry with underwriting and portfolio management expertise.
• AFSB designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze risk using appropriate techniques.
• Develop marketing activities and manage producers within territory.
• Grow a profitable book of business and expand market presence.
• Meet with principal owners to assess management and objectives.
• Monitor accounts for compliance with Arch standards and take corrective actions.
• Prepare underwriting submissions and recommendations within authority.
