Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in the Surety industry with underwriting and portfolio management.
• AFSB designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a complex book of Contract Surety within authority limits.
• Develop and manage territory relationships to meet profitability goals.
• Meet with account owners to assess objectives and key personnel experience.
• Coordinate with CPAs, bankers, lawyers, architects, and engineers for risk detail.
• Prepare underwriting submissions and furnish recommendations.
