Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Contract Manager to join the Global Strategic Sourcing group. The role focuses on commercial contracts covering network equipment, IT, software, maintenance, and construction.

You will review, negotiate, and manage terms with suppliers, while collaborating with Category Sourcing Experts, internal partners, and legal. This hybrid position may sit in any Verizon hub location in the continental US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of work experience.
• Six+ years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years in contract management or sourcing.
• Experience handling multiple deliverables.
• Experience with contract drafting skills.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Review supplier terms and conditions, assess risk, and recommend Verizon's response.
• Lead drafting and negotiation of terms with suppliers.
• Ensure flow-down terms are incorporated in contracts/SOWs.
• Coordinate with Category Sourcing Experts and legal partners.
• Negotiate with suppliers and obtain final contract approvals.
• Prepare contract templates for RFPs and maintain language updates.
• Identify and resolve contract-related supplier issues and escalations.
• Consult senior management on current and potential issues.
• Manage and audit CPNI procedures for US Sourcing per FCC rules.
• Hybrid work arrangement; sit at Verizon hub or remote locations in the continental US.
